Henry was born on July 13th, 1267 in Windsor Castle, Buckinghamshire, England.1 Henry's father was EDWARD I "Longshanks" KING de ENGLAND and his mother was ELEANOR (Countess) de CASTILE. His paternal grandparents were HENRY III KING de ENGLAND and ELEANOR de PROVENCE; his maternal grandparents were FERNANDO III 'The Saint" KING de CASTILE and JEANNE (Juana) de DAMMARTIN. He had three brothers and ten sisters, named JOHN 1st LORD, Alfonso, EDWARD II KING, ELEANOR, Julian, JOAN PLANTAGENET, Margaret, Berengaria, ELIZABETH, Beatrice, Blanche, Mary and Alice. He had two half-brothers and a half-sister, named THOMAS (Earl), EDMUND EARL de KENT and Eleanor. He died at the age of 7 on October 14th, 1274 in Westminster Palace, Middlesex, England.1 -
