His paternal grandparents were Commodore Decatur, Sr. Wood and Malinda Logan; his maternal grandparents were William G. Lee and Unigus (?). He had five brothers and four sisters, named Richard Ison, John Reedy, Robert Edward, Sinclair Eugene, James Henry, Jr., Mary Beatrice, Alice Levann, Elizabeth Lee and Lilla Mae. He was the fourth oldest of the ten children. He died at the age of 64 on January 23rd, 1939 in AL. He was buried in Providence Cemetery, Elmore Co., AL..1 1 -
