Richard Wood 
Richard was born on December 1st, 1844 in Coosa Co., AL.1 Richard's father was Commodore Decatur, Sr. Wood and his mother was Malinda Logan. His paternal grandparents were James Wood and Mary Reneau; his maternal grandparents were Henry Logan and Martha Ann George. He had three brothers and four sisters, named James Henry, Comodore Decatur, Jr, Ellis, Mary Elizabeth, Martha Ann, Sarah Jane and Louisiana. He was the third oldest of the eight children. He had a half-brother named Elie. He died at the age of 56 on January 19th, 1901 in Childersburg, Talladega Co., AL.1 -
