Robert Washington Stough

Robert Washington was born on October 30th, 1828 in Cabarras Co.,  NC.¹   Robert Washington's father was Simeon Thomas Stough and his mother was Matilda Petrey.  His maternal grandfather was William Petery. He had five brothers and five sisters, named Michael Monroe, John B., Daniel Jackson, Simeon Calhoun, George Wesley, Susan Elizabeth, Martha Matilda, Sarah Ann, Adeline and Frances Jane.  He was the oldest of the eleven children.  He died at the age of 35 on June 14th, 1864 in ?.¹
