George Wesley Stough

George Wesley was born on November 16th, 1849 in AL.¹   George Wesley's father was Simeon Thomas Stough and his mother was Matilda Petrey.  His maternal grandfather was William Petery. He had five brothers and five sisters, named Robert Washington, Michael Monroe, John B., Daniel Jackson, Simeon Calhoun, Susan Elizabeth, Martha Matilda, Sarah Ann, Adeline and Frances Jane.  He was the second youngest of the eleven children.  He died at the age of 66 on February 15th, 1916 in AL.  He was buried in Rocky Mount Cemetery, north of Highland Home, Crenshaw Co., AL.^1 1 

‌George Wesley and Martha Sara were married in a religious ceremony on January 20th, 1870 in Crenshaw Co., AL.¹
