Rebecca Skinner

Rebecca was born on September 26th, 1797 in Halifox County, Tennessee.¹   Rebecca's father was Josiah S. Skinner and her mother was Letitia ??.  Her paternal grandparents were Emanuel Skinner and Elizabeth Moore. She had two brothers and seven sisters, named William, Chaurstory, Letitia, Shany, Pamela, Lydia, Martha, Bathsheba and Elizabeth.  She was the third oldest of the ten children. She had three half-brothers and a half-sister, named Washington Lee, Josiah Washington, James John and Mary Ann.  She died at the age of 56 on January 19th, 1854 in Kentucky.¹ 

‌Rebecca and Daniel were married in a religious ceremony in 1817.²
