Ellen Sharbutt

Ellen was born on February 13th, 1861 in GA.¹   Ellen's father was Wiley James Sharbutt and her mother was Susan Cordelia Boring.  Her paternal grandfather was Warrner Sharbutt. She had eight brothers and seven sisters, named John, Joesph M., Nathan S., William S., Hillery Mathew, David W., Thomas Coke, G. W., Laura, Francis Jane, Mary Elizabeth, Amanda M. C., Narcissa, Harriet and Irene.  She was the third youngest of the sixteen children.  She died in 1861 in GA.¹
