James Jeremiah was born on August 9th, 1854 in White Co., GA.1 James Jeremiah's father was Thomas Glenn Sears and his mother was Sarah Ann Payne. His paternal grandparents were Wyatt Sears and Frances Sutterfield. He had two brothers and three sisters, named Wyatt Glenn, John Thomas, Martha Louise, Susan F. and Sarah.
