Myrtis was born in 1897 in Butler Co., AL.1 Myrtis' father was Colonel Herbert Perrett and her mother was Willie Ann Lee. Her paternal grandparents were John William Perrett and Margaret Malissa Spradley. She had a brother and a sister, named Arthur and Eunice. She was the second oldest of the three children. Providence Baptist Church, Patsburg, Crenshaw Co., AL. At that time she
was living in Mariana, FL.
