Alton Nichols 
Alton was born on June 2nd, 1913.1 Alton's father was James Austin Nichols and his mother was Mary Elizabeth Garrett. His maternal grandparents were Thomas Jefferson Garrett and Martha Addsline Henderson. He had three brothers and four sisters, named Johnnie, Earnest, Frank, Lila, Lida, Hattie Elizabeth and Addie. He was the youngest of the eight children. He died at the age of 44 on January 14th, 1958. He was buried in Pilgrim Rest Cemetery, Baker, Okaloosa County, Florida.1 1 -
