David Near 
David was born on January 15th, 1818.1 David's father was JAMES NEAR and his mother was EVE KLISE. His paternal grandparents were PHILIP NEER and ELIZABETH (Mary) POTTS. He had four brothers and five sisters, named PHILIP, James, John, Samuel, Barbara, Catherine, Elizabeth, Isabelle and Mary.-
