JAMES NEAR 
JAMES was born about 1783 in Harpers Ferry, Loudoun Co. VA.1 JAMES' father was PHILIP NEER and his mother was ELIZABETH (Mary) POTTS. His paternal grandparents were CONRAD NEER and UNKNOWN NANCY. He had two sisters named Barbara and Elizabeth. He died in 1828 in Ross Co, Ohio.1 
JAMES and EVE were married in a religious ceremony in 1810 in Loudoun Co., Va..1 They had five sons and five daughters, named David, PHILIP, James, John, Samuel, Barbara, Catherine, Elizabeth, Isabelle and Mary.
