Ely Coleman was born on January 30th, 1882.1 Ely Coleman's father was James Coleman Nall and his mother was Sallie Susan Garrett. His maternal grandparents were James C. Garrett and Evaline Rials. He had three brothers and six sisters, named Arthur C., Burnie A., Cannie Overstreet, Ida Donie, Everline M., Leila V., Bessie J., Minnie C. and Sarah E.. He was the third oldest of the ten children. He died at the age of 68 on October 25th, 1950 in Conecuh County, Alabama.1 -
