Cannie Overstreet was born on October 29th, 1883 in Bellville, Conecuh County, Alabama.1 Cannie Overstreet's father was James Coleman Nall and his mother was Sallie Susan Garrett. His maternal grandparents were James C. Garrett and Evaline Rials. He had three brothers and six sisters, named Arthur C., Ely Coleman, Burnie A., Ida Donie, Everline M., Leila V., Bessie J., Minnie C. and Sarah E.. He was the fifth oldest of the ten children. He died at the age of 50 on December 7th, 1933 in Excel, Monroe County, Alabama.1 -
