Coosa County Judge of Said Court:
Jno. A Logan adm. of the Estate of J M C Miller deceased respectfully
report entries unto your Honor that the said J M C Miller at the time of
his death owned the following lands situated in the county of Coosa to
wit: S1/2 of NW1/4 & NE1/4 of SW1/4 and S1/2 of SW1/4 Section 25.T23.
Range 18. Situated in Coosa county. That the heirs of Said deceased are
the following to wit: A. J. Miller who is over twenty-one years of age,
of sound mind and resides in Coosa County, John M. C. Miller who is over
twenty-one years of age, of sound mind and resides in Coosa County, J.
Monroe Miller who is over twenty-one years of age, of sound mind, and
resides in Coosa County, Mary Sharbutt wife of Hilliary M. Sharbutt who
is over twenty-one years of age, of sound mind and resides in Coosa
County, Nancy Kelly wife of John Kelly who is over twenty one years of
age of Sound mind and resides in part unknown to adms. and that the
heirs, and that the Said lands cannot be equitably divided among Said
heirs, and that the Said John M. Miller one of Said adults his requests
that Said lands be sold for distribution wherefore, your petitioner prays
that he be authorized to sell Said lands for one half cash & the other
half on credit until 1st Nov 1884 for the purpose of making a divisions
of Said estate among Said heirs according to the Statute for Such case
made, and that such proceedings, orders and decrees may be had and made
in the premises, as may be sufficient to affect such sale for said
purpose according to law. And as in duty bound your petitioner will ever
pray. Sworn to and subscribed before me} John A Logan this 17th day of
Oct AD 1883.

Courses of John A. Logan admr. Of the Estate of J M C Miller deceased
and makes the following report of sale of the following land belonging
to the Estate of J M C Miller deceased, that your petitioners as admr. of
said estate sold (cannot make out next word) an order and decree of the
Probate court of said county Alabama on the 3rd day of Dec 1883 ordering
a sale of said lands for one half cash and the other half on credit to
Nov 1st 1884 - your petitioners reports that in the 28th day of Dec 1883
he sold said lands on the promises in accordance with Said decree, where
J M C Miller Jr. son of deceased became the purchaser of the S1/2 of
NW1/4 & NE1/4 of SW1/4 & S1/2 of SW1/4 Sec 25T23 R 18 in Coosa Co Ala for
