James Monroe Miller

James Monroe was born on March 14th, 1846 in GA.¹   James Monroe's father was John McBride, Sr. Miller and his mother was Martha Ann Gibson.  His paternal grandparents were Charles Miller and Nancy (?); his maternal grandparents were UNKNOWN Gibson and Susannah (?). He had four brothers and two sisters, named Andrew Jackson, William, John McBride, Jr., Charles, Nancy and Mary Ann.  He was the third youngest of the seven children.  He died at the age of 54 on April 22nd, 1900 in Coosa Co., AL.  He was buried in Poplar Springs Baptist Church Cemetery, Hanover Coosa, Co., AL.^1 1 

‌James Monroe and Virginia were married in a religious ceremony on January 3rd, 1867 in Coosa Co., AL.¹
