Martin Hawkins Metcalf

Martin Hawkins was born on April 21st, 1836 in Tennessee.  Martin Hawkins' father was Anthony* Martin Metcalf and his mother was Lucinda* R Thomasson.  His maternal grandparents were William* Thomasson and Nancy* Berry. He had five brothers and six sisters, named William Campbell, John Anderson, Lewis Terril, Isaac Franklin, James Monroe, Mary Ann "Polly", Elizabeth Carolie, Rebecca Jane, Lucinda Perilee, Martha Charlotta A and Susan* Tennessee.  He was the fourth youngest of the twelve children.
