James Monroe Metcalf

James Monroe was born on November 3rd, 1839 in Tennesee.  James Monroe's father was Anthony* Martin Metcalf and his mother was Lucinda* R Thomasson.  His maternal grandparents were William* Thomasson and Nancy* Berry. He had five brothers and six sisters, named William Campbell, John Anderson, Lewis Terril, Isaac Franklin, Martin Hawkins, Mary Ann "Polly", Elizabeth Carolie, Rebecca Jane, Lucinda Perilee, Martha Charlotta A and Susan* Tennessee.  He was the third youngest of the twelve children.  He died at the age of 12 on April 9th, 1852 in Of Prairie, Franklin Co, Arkansas.
