John Wesley Ledbetter 
John Wesley was born on August 28th, 1810 in Madison Co., Mississippe Territory.1 John Wesley's father was Ephraim Ledbetter and his mother was Georgia Hester T. Smith. His paternal grandparents were Joel Ledbetter and Catherine Brazelton. He had four brothers and two sisters, named Gardner Caswell, Daniel T., Joel P., Solomon Smith, Nancy Jane and Martha Catherine. He was the second oldest of the seven children. He died at the age of 84 on February 14th, 1895 in Anniston, Calhoun Co., AL.1 General Notes
