Francis Marion Jacks 
Francis Marion was born on September 5th, 1874 in Coosa Co., AL.1 Francis Marion's father was Anderson Edward Jacks and his mother was Matilda E. Champion. His paternal grandparents were Cass Anderson Jacks and Emily (?). He had five brothers and three sisters, named William Jackson, Jonathan A., Simeon Archer, Joseph Hardy, Bernard G., Anna Missouri, Florence Elizabeth and Louisa D.. He was the fourth youngest of the nine children. He died at 4 months old on January 21st, 1875 in Coosa Co., AL. He was buried in Jacks Private Cemetery. Located near the old Jeff Miller house (presently Hatchett Creek Hunting Club), about 2 miles NW of Rockford, Coosa Co., AL..1 1 -
