Martha Temperance was born on March 13th, 1870 in Montgomery Co., AL.1 Martha Temperance's father was David Morgan Huffman and her mother was Emily Jane Jackson. Her paternal grandparents were David Huffman and Martha Sally Rambo; her maternal grandparents were John Jackson and Temperance Ann Henry. She had seven brothers and five sisters, and also a sibling of unknown gender, named William Dansler, John David, James A., Thomas Allen, Joseph Elvin, Elbert Ether, Q. Z., Mary Ellen, Effie Pearl, Emily Esther, Ines Edith, Henrietta Bernice and Baby. She was the fourth oldest of the fourteen children. She died at the age of 91 on January 10th, 1962 in Montgomery Co., AL. She was buried in Hill's Chapel Methodist Church Cemetery near Dublin, Montgomery Co., AL.1 1 -
