William Garrett 
William was born in Amelia, Virginia.1 William's father was Stephen Garrett and his mother was Magdalene Bernard. His paternal grandparents were John Garrett and Susannah Burton; his maternal grandparents were David Bernard and Anne ??. He had five brothers and a sister, named John, John, Joshua Bernard, Elijah Caleb, Creed Taylor and Ann. He died on January 10th, 1816.1 -
