Ann was born on December 1st, 1762 in Buckingham County, Virginia.1 Ann's father was Stephen Garrett and her mother was Magdalene Bernard. Her paternal grandparents were John Garrett and Susannah Burton; her maternal grandparents were David Bernard and Anne ??. She had six brothers named John, John, Joshua Bernard, Elijah Caleb, William and Creed Taylor. She died at the age of 91 on May 29th, 1854 in Fentress County, Tennesse.1 -
