James Flowers 
James was born in 1786 in Buckingham County, Virginia.1 James' father was Roland Flowers and his mother was Ann Garrett. His maternal grandparents were Stephen Garrett and Magdalene Bernard. He had four brothers and seven sisters, named William, Levi, Roland, Jr., Arthur, Elizabeth, Rosanna, Maggie, Sarah, Judy, Delila and Mary Anna. He died at the age of 53 on February 16th, 1839. He was buried in Story Cemetery, Pickett County, Tennessee.1 1 -
