John GILBERT

John was born on October 21st, 1752.¹ John's father was John GILBERT and his mother was Sarah MARCHANT. His paternal grandparents were Thomas GILBERT and Elizabeth HOWE. He had seven brothers and two sisters, named Josiah, Eli, Lemuel, Thomas, Joel, Agur, Marchant, Anna and Sarah Ann. He was the third oldest of the ten children.
