Nesbitt was born on December 30th, 1847 in Montgomery, Montgomery Co., AL.1 Nesbitt's father was Physick Rush Elmore and his mother was Susan Tyler Duval Nesbitt. His paternal grandparents were John Archer Elmore and Nancy Ann Martin; his maternal grandparents were Wilson Nesbitt and Susan Tyler Du Val. He had two brothers and four sisters, named Arthur, Rush, Annie E., Mary Hamlin, Julia and Laura Ludlow. He died at the age of 71 on March 7th, 1919 in Tecumseh, KS.1 -
