Samuel, Sr. Cooper 
Samuel, Sr. was born about 1787 in Cooperstown, New York.1 Samuel, Sr.'s father was William-, Judge Cooper and his mother was Elizabeth Fenimore. His paternal grandparents were James- Cooper and Hannah Hibbs. He had six brothers and four sisters, named Richard Fenimore, Sr., Isaac, Abraham, William Yeardley, Sr., Lawyer, James- Fenimore, Author, Henry Fry, Hannah, Ann, Ann and Elizabeth. He was the third youngest of the eleven children. He died on February 15th, 1819.1 -
