William Castellaw 
William was born about 1730 in Bertie Precinct, NC.1 William's father was James, Sr. Castellaw and his mother was Sarah Williams. His paternal grandparents were Thomas Castellaw and Katherine Hutcheson; his maternal grandfather was John, Jr. Williams. He had three brothers and three sisters, named Thomas, John, James, Jr., Betha H., Katherine and Sarah. He died in July 1740 in Bertie Precinct, NC.1 General Notes

William never married. James Castellaw sold William Castellaw August 10,
1746, for 10 schillings, 640 acres on the NS of Cashy Creek. William's
will was dated June 18, 1749. August court 1758 lists his mother as
Sarah. Brothers John, Thomas, James and sisters Bathia, Sarah and
Katherine.
