Louisa S. Castellaw 
Louisa S. was born on July 21st, 1841 in Haywood Co., TN.1 Louisa S.'s father was Henry Dawson, Jr. Castellaw and her mother was Sarah Spruill. Her paternal grandfather was Henry Dawson Castellaw. She had two brothers and three sisters, named Benjamin Henry, Henry Clay, Mary Ann, Jane E. and Sarah Jane. She was the third youngest of the six children. She died at the age of 87 on January 16th, 1929 in Ripley, Lauderdale Co., TN. She was buried in Mount Pleasant Cemetery.1 1 General Notes

In the 1880 Lauderdale Co., TN Federal Census, Louisa was a widow and had
five children to care for. her mother was also living with her. The 1900
Lauderdale Co., TN Federal Census gives her date of birth as July 1841.
Seh had had six children with five still living. One child must have died
between 1900 and 1910.
Her son Fletcher, his wife Biola and their daughter Altie were living
with Louisa at the time of the 1900 census. It showed that both of her
parents were born in North Carolina.
The 1910 Federal Census of Lauderdale Co., TN showed six children
with four living. In 1920, Louisa was living with her sone Charles and
her family in Lauderdale Co., tN.
