His paternal grandparents were John Dawson Castellaw and Zilpha Spruill. He had two brothers named John Edward and James Williams. He was the second oldest of the three children. He had three half-brothers and a half-sister, named Thomas Jefferson, Jr., George W., Jeremiah Fletcher and Zilphia Elizabeth. He died at the age of 77 in October 1913 in ?.1 -
