William Anderton

William was born in 1802 in TN.¹   William's father was James Anderton and his mother was Peggy Morris.  His paternal grandparents were UNKNOWN Anderton and Miss Unknown. He had two brothers and two sisters, named John, Sr., James Berry, Sr., Jemima and Nancy.  He was the third oldest of the five children.  He died before 1850 in ?.¹ 

‌William and Nancy were married in a religious ceremony on December 4th, 1820 in Blount Co., AL.¹   They had two sons and a daughter, named William Preston, Monroe and Catharine.
