William Preston Anderton 
William Preston was born on April 12th, 1832 in Morgan Co., AL.1 William Preston's father was William Anderton and his mother was Nancy Parham. His paternal grandparents were James Anderton and Peggy Morris. He had a brother and a sister, named Monroe and Catharine. He was the oldest of the three children.
