Abbess of Essen
"The Dictionary of Royal Lineage" has William III, Duke of Aquitaine married
to Adelaide, the dau. of Hre Otto I. It had William and Adelaide as the
parents of Adelaide, the wife of King Hugh Capet of France. In another
account, it has him married to "Adele of Normandy" the dau. of Rollo, 1st Duke
of Normandy. I am assuming that he married twice.
Weis' "AR" (144A:19-20) has William and Gerloc as the parents of Adelaide.
