Thomas le Bigod 
Thomas was born in 1190 in of Thetford, Norfolk or Framlingham, Suffolk. Thomas' father was Roger le Bigod Earl of Norfolk and his mother was Ida (Isabel) Plantagenet. His maternal grandparents were Hamelin Plantagenet de Anjou Earl of Surrey and Isabel de Warenne. He had four brothers and three sisters, named Hugh le Bigod, William, Roger, Ralph, Adeliza, Margaret and Mary. He was the third oldest of the eight children. He died at the age of 50 in 1240.-
