Ralph le Bigod 
Ralph was born in 1201. Ralph's father was Roger le Bigod Earl of Norfolk and his mother was Ida (Isabel) Plantagenet. His maternal grandparents were Hamelin Plantagenet de Anjou Earl of Surrey and Isabel de Warenne. He had four brothers and three sisters, named Hugh le Bigod, William, Thomas, Roger, Adeliza, Margaret and Mary. He was the youngest of the eight children.
