2nd Earl of Shrewsbury Hugues de Montgomery 2nd Earl of Shrewsbury 
Hugues was born about 1042 in St. Germain Montgomery, Normandie. Hugues' father was Roger II, 1st Earl of Shrewsbury and his mother was Princess Mabel de Talvas Mabile d'AlenAon. He had three brothers and two sisters, named Arnulph, Roger III, Robert II, 3rd Earl of, Maud and Sybil. He died on July 31st, 1098 in Montgomery, Montgomeryshire, Wales.
