Robert II, 3rd Earl of was born in AlenAon, Normandie, France. Robert II, 3rd Earl of's father was Roger II, 1st Earl of Shrewsbury and his mother was Princess Mabel de Talvas Mabile d'AlenAon. He had three brothers and two sisters, named Hugues, Arnulph, Roger III, Maud and Sybil. He died on May 8th, 1131.General Notes
In 1102 he was deprived of his English lands and exiled to France by Henry I.
