Isabel was born in AragUn, Spain or Montpellier, Herault, France.  Isabel's father was Jaime I the Conqueror King of AragUn and her mother was Yolande (Violante\Jolan) of Hungary.  Her paternal grandparents were Pedro II the Catholic de AragUn King of AragUn and Maria de Montpelier Cts de Montpellier; her maternal grandparents were Andras II of Hungary King of Hungary and Yolande de Courtenay. She had four brothers and two sisters, and also a sibling of unknown gender, named Pedro III the Great de AragUn, James II, Pedro, Fernando, Violante, ConstanAa and Ferran. She had a half-brother named Alfonso.  She died in Cosenza, Calabria, Italy.


Isabel's family with Philippe III the Bold le Hardi King of France

‌Isabel and Philippe III the Bold le Hardi were married in a religious ceremony on May 28th, 1262 in Clermont-Ferrand, Puy-De-Denis, France.  They had four sons named Louis Capet, Philippe IV the Fair Capet, Robert Capet and Charles III de Valois Capet.
