Pedro III the Great de AragUn was born about 1250. Pedro III the Great de AragUn's father was Jaime I the Conqueror King of AragUn and his mother was Yolande (Violante\Jolan) of Hungary. His paternal grandparents were Pedro II the Catholic de AragUn King of AragUn and Maria de Montpelier Cts de Montpellier; his maternal grandparents were Andras II of Hungary King of Hungary and Yolande de Courtenay. He had three brothers and three sisters, and also a sibling of unknown gender, named James II, Pedro, Fernando, Violante, Isabel, ConstanAa and Ferran. He had a half-brother named Alfonso. He died in 1285.General Notes
Alphonso II, "the Fat," (1185-1223), succeeded his father, Sancho I in 1211. He gained a victory over the Moors at Alc•cer do Sal in 1217.
