Humbert of Blois Count of was born in 1078.  Humbert of Blois Count of's father was Stephen III Count of Blois and his mother was Adela Princess of Adela Alice Princess of England.  His paternal grandparents were Theobald III Count of Champagne & Blois and Garsinde von Maine; his maternal grandparents were William I "The Conqueror" King of England and Matilda of Flanders. He had four brothers and two sisters, named William de Champagne Count of, Henry Bishop of, Theobald III 4th Count of, Stephen King of, Matilda of and Emma of.  He was the second oldest of the seven children.
