Matilda of was born in 1080. Matilda of's father was Stephen III Count of Blois and her mother was Adela Princess of Adela Alice Princess of England. Her paternal grandparents were Theobald III Count of Champagne & Blois and Garsinde von Maine; her maternal grandparents were William I "The Conqueror" King of England and Matilda of Flanders.
