Elizabeth de was born about 1306 in Alton Castle, Cheadle, Staffordshire, England.  Elizabeth de's father was Theobald 2nd Baron de Verdun , MP, Sir and her mother was Maud de Mortimer.  Her paternal grandparents were Theobald 1st Baron de Verdun , Sir and Margery (Margaret) de Bohun , Heiress of Bisley; her maternal grandparents were Edmund 1st Baron de Mortimer , 7th Lord Wigmore and Margaret de Fiennes. She had two sisters named Margery de and Joan de. She had a half-sister named Isabel de.  She died on May 1st, 1360.


Elizabeth de's family with Bartholomew 3rd Baron de Burghersh , KG, Sir

‌Elizabeth de and Bartholomew 3rd Baron de were married in a religious ceremony before June 11th, 1320.  They had a son and three daughters, named Bartholomew 4th Baron de, Maude de, Elizabeth and Joan.
