Jutta was born in 1092. Jutta's father was Count/ Gerard I "Flaminous " Of Guelders VON WASSENBERG and her mother was Clemintina DE POITOU. Her paternal grandfather was Heinrich(Dietrich) VON WASSENBERG; her maternal grandfather was Duke/Count Peter-William V OF AQUITAINE. She had a brother and a sister, named Henry and Yolanda. She had a half-sister named Ermensinde.General Notes
Credited with the first unification of the country, convertedthe Danes to Christianity, and conquered Norway. After hisBaptism his fathers pagan tomb was transformed into a Christianplace of worship.
Introduced Christianity into Denmark, he had the famous Jellingrune stone erected in his parent memory. He was fatally woundedduring a rebellion by his son and successor, Sveng I.
