Hawise Stewart 
Hawise was born about 1258 in Dundonald Castle, Irvine, Ayrshire, Scotland. Hawise's father was Alexander Stewart , 4th High Steward of Scotland and her mother was Jean Heiress of Arran & Bute. Her paternal grandparents were Walter Stewart , 3rd High Steward of Scotland and Beatrix de Angus; her maternal grandparents were James Earl of Bute and Ragnhild of the Isles. She had two brothers and three sisters, named James, John, Mary, Elizabeth and Alice. She was the second youngest of the six children.General Notes
