Eupheme was born about 1200 in Dundonald, Ayrshire, Scotland.  Eupheme's father was Walter Stewart , 3rd High Steward of Scotland and her mother was Beatrix de Angus.  Her paternal grandparents were Alan FitzWalter , 2nd High Steward of Scotland and Margaret de Galloway; her maternal grandparents were Gilchrist 4th Earl of Angus and Margaret Haraldsdottir. She had two brothers and three sisters, named Alexander, Walter "Ballioch", Elizabeth (Beatrix), Margaret and Miss.  She was the second oldest of the six children.  She died about 1267 in Whittingham, East Lothian, Scotland.
