His paternal grandparents were Miles STAPLETON Baron and Sibill De (Bellew) BELLA AQUA; his maternal grandparents were Brian FITZALAN Sir and Agnes Maud BALIOL. He had three brothers and two sisters, named Nicholas, Brian, John, Katherine and Avicia. He was the oldest of the six children. He died on December 4th, 1364. He was buried in Ingham.-
