John De Charleton II Baron of was born in 1310. John De Charleton II Baron of's father was John de Charlton Baron John De Cherleton Lord Of Charleton and his mother was Hawise De La Pole. His paternal grandfather was Robert De Cherleton; his maternal grandparents were Owain de la Pole ap Gruffydd Lord de la Pole and Joan Corbet. He had a sister named Isabelle. Sir John de Cherleton, 2nd Baron of Powys, summoned to Parliament March 15, 1354 to Nov. 20, 1360. In 1359 he was chamberlain of the household to Edward III, and was in the wars of Gascony in attendance on Edward, the Black Prince.
