Margaret, created 29 Sep 1397 Duchess of Norfolk for life and de jure Countess of Norfolk in her own right (married 2nd Walter, Lord (Baron) Mauny, and dspm 24 March 1398/9, when the Duchy expired but the Earldom of Norfolk passed to her grandson 7th Lord (Baron) Mowbray), daughter and eventually sole heiress of Thomas of Brotherton, Earl of Norfolk, 5th son of Edward I.
