Thomas de was born on June 1st, 1300 in Brotherton, Yorkshire, England.  Thomas de's father was Edward I Plantagenet "Longshanks" King O England and his mother was Marguerite Princess of France.  His paternal grandparents were Henry III Plantagenet King of England and Eleanor of Provence; his maternal grandparents were Philip III "The Bold" King of France and Marie of Brabant. He had a brother named Edmund.  He was the older of the two children. He had a half-brother and three half-sisters, named Edward II Plantagenet King of, Eleanor, Joan "of Acre" and Elizabeth.  He died about August 1338 in Norfolk, England (dspms).  He was buried in Abbey of Bury St. Edmunds, Suffolk, England.
