Havard, who was "a good chief and prosperous in harvests," m. his brotherís widow Ragnhild, who is said by a promise of marriage to have persuaded his sisterís son, Einar Klining, to kill him, but the date is not recorded, He was bur, at Stennis in Hrossey (Pomona) at a place afterwards called Havardsteigar [Havardís Fields].
